Au-pair-enciás Agency

We provide two kinds of work programmes:
1. Paid in a hotel (hospitality programme)
2. Unpaid in the sector of your choice (work experience programme).

Au-pair-enciás is able to offer a programme specifically aimed at those wishing to earn money while improving their English in the UK or gain experience in the UK hospitality industry for their future career.

We find placements in country hotels in small towns and villages across the UK, students are able to specify a region of the UK but we cannot offer placements in specific towns. We use country hotels as they provide accommodation for their employees.

We place applicants in the following positions:
General Assistant
Waiter/Waitress
Housekeeper
Kitchen porter
Bartender
Commis Chef
Receptionist

The position the applicant is able to secure will depend on their English language level and previous experience. It is possible for candidates to improve their position as they learn more skills during the experience.

All positions will be paid at least minimum wage. This is £4.92 for workers 18 to 21 and £5.93 for workers 22 and over. There will be a charge for the accommodation provided by the hotel which is usually between £20 and £50.

Applicants can expect to work full time which is between 30 and 40 hours per week, this can depend on the time of year. Applicants should be prepared to work evenings, early mornings and weekends as required by their employer.
 

Au-pair-enciás is able to offer a programme specifically aimed at those wishing to gain a period of valuable work experience in their chosen field of study.

The Work Experience Programme aims to provide the opportunity of improving existing English Language skills in a professional environment, increase awareness of international business practices and enhance employment opportunities.

We are able to secure students unpaid internships with companies throughout the United Kingdom, but most commonly in London, Brighton or Manchester.

We currently offer Work Experience projects in a number of different fields including:

*Applicants should have experience or relevant qualifications in these sectors.
Tailor made work experience programmes can also be arranged on request.
 

Before Au-pair-enciás accepts a student onto the Work Experience programme, the following information needs to be provided.

• A CV and photograph for the student
• A completed student profile

Once this has been received, the student will be invited to a Skype interview with a Work Placement coordinator before acceptance onto the programme. This is an opportunity for Au-pair-enciás to find out exactly what the student is looking for and give the student the opportunity to ask questions.

Au-pair-enciás require at least six weeks notice for acceptance onto the Work Experience programme and will endeavour to provide full details of the interview at least two weeks before the placement is due to begin.

Should the student have a course of study, a face to face interview will be arranged with the prospective company. If not, a telephone interview will be arranged between the student and the company.

Once the student has had the interview, we will contact the company for the result and inform the student within two days of the interview taking place.

Should the student fail the interview, we will ask for feedback from the company and provide advice for the student. We will also continue to search for an alternative interview for the student.

Once the student has secured a position, we will be on hand to answer any questions the student may have.

Au-pair-enciás will be on hand to provide support throughout the students programme.
